Name one small step you can do right now to grow your audience? I started twitter. I was told it will help so today is the day I learn as I go

Are you on twitter? Do you like twitter?

Have you ever tried twitter? Do you think it is an option to get your thoughts or brand known to more people? Do you learn about other people and business through social media?

I don’t want to be spammy or let social media use me so I will be learning slowly. Trying new things is important. Make sure you maintain what you have already built instead of concentrating all your efforts on the new. New friends and clients are great but the people and clients that have been there for you in order to get you this far are still important and relevant.

Shiny object syndrome doesn’t work. Keep cultivating the great people and work you have done so far. Build the firm foundation, keep working on it every day, add new layers and options into your plans. Look over your work and ideas regularly so you don’t lose sight of the dream and your progress. Let go of thoughts and plans that may not work how you want or need.

Don’t be afraid to try something new. Take that first step towards the goal you have set. Even when you aren’t sure if you are ready, you can still take action and make progress. Many of the lessons and achievements to build success are learnt along the way. Starting out small can make a new idea less scary. You don’t have to do it all in one day. You don’t have to wait until the perfect plan is ready and every possible outcome has been researched and documented. Obviously do the research, but don’t let the research phase last forever and the actual doing of the idea never happen.

You never feel completely ready. There is always a little doubt and insecurity. Don’t let fear tell you that you can’t: Fear is a liar…Fear is a bully.

You deserve to give yourself the chance to succeed. Small success is still success. One choice at a time. One day at a time. One step at a time.
