Want a life full of passion and purpose? These 3 simple questions will show you the path.
What do you sing about? / What makes you happy?
What do you cry about? / What makes you sad?
What do you dream about?
Regardless of where life takes you, you have ever changing dreams and goals. But one thing remains constant: you truly want to make a positive difference in your life. You would like to make your life count.
Make a difference in your own life according to the 3 questions above.
Surround yourself with people and influences that make you happy. Make your heart sing with joy every day.
Stay close to people who are making a positive difference. They will influence who you will become in the next 5 years. The books, environment and outside influences you let into your life will reflect in the differences you adapt and make work for you. If you don’t intentionally choose positive influences to inspire you, you won’t be making those positive changes.
Struggles can make us sad, make us cry.
We learn in these moments to live and lead life with intention. Be intentional about making a difference. Everything worth having is uphill. Intentionally live instead of letting life happen to you and accepting dreary circumstances and negativity as the only outcome for our future.
Uphill hopes make the difference. Uphill hopes don’t happen through downhill habits. Dreams are free, but the journey isn’t. It is an uphill climb to make dreams into goals, into daily choices and habits. The uphill intentional living makes your dreams into reality. You choose your life everyday in the big and small moments.
Your potential is God’s gift to you. What you do with that potential is your gift to yourself and to the world. The way you show your praise and appreciation to God for giving you these gifts is by intentional living and working to achieve your potential.
Vision gap: The space between what you are doing now, and what you could be doing. It stretches you to make a difference.
The only guarantee of a better tomorrow is to be growing today. We must believe in ourselves and our dreams every step of the way. We see where we are now in order to see the steps we must take to get to where we want to be. The space between here and there is just as important as the goal. Without a starting point, there is no celebrating how far we have come. Small steps and achieving milestones along the way remind us to appreciate the journey too. The uphill work is worth it when we get to see the view from the top.
We gain strength along the way. We learn new habits and let go of what no longer serves us. We grow into better versions of ourselves and become who we always knew we wanted to be before the people and situations of the world dulled our vision.
Every small choice and accomplishment is worth that uphill climb. The growing pains are difficult. Living the life we want to live is worth seeing how the struggles taught us and change us for the better. I appreciate life more and those dreams becoming reality is even sweeter when you intentionally choose your own path every day.
